Vester News: PH IN TOP TEN COUNTRIES FOR INVESTMENT

We may not have seen it but someone else did.

Australian based CEO Magazine ranked the Philippines as one of the top ten countries to invest in or do business in for 2020.

The Philippines came in 7th place after Australia which was in 6th place. Singapore ranked first followed by the UK as among the 80 countries analyzed for their business and investment environments.

Factors taken into consideration in the analysis were corruption, freedom, workforce, investor protection, infrastructure, taxes, quality of life, red tape and technological readiness.

In the ranking by the CEO Magazine, the Philippines was dubbed as the tech hub of Asia.

Real estate experts notably David Lee Chiu likewise predicted positive growth in the outsourcing business in the Philippines. This stemmed from the fact that countries would be forced to outsource their back office support as strict social distancing rules are employed in their home countries.

In effect, we expect massive economic growth in what we call new wave cities . These are the cities that are targeted by BPOs to establish their presence.

These are usually located in educational centers where there is abundance of competent and qualified graduates. Among those cities here in Luzon are Clark, Baguio, Cabanatuan, Ilocos Norte, Dagupan and Tuguegarao.

With these developments, expect demand for real estate to spike. This augurs well for Vester Bayani Hall projects in Tuguegarao and Dagupan. This must be the reason for the recent spike in demand for Bayani Hall units even during the ECQ. We expect this to rise further as easing measures are implemented.
