The Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) approved the development permit for the construction of Vester Corporation’s Bayani Hall Premier Dormitories in Dagupan city, Pangasinan.
In its decision, the HLURB stated that Bayani Hall “substantially conforms to the design standards and implementing rules and regulations of PD 957 and RA 4726 and the city ordinance of the city of Dagupan.
The permit recognizes the legitimacy of the project as it was welcomed by the local government of Dagupan led by Mayor Brian Lim and as reiterated by the City Administrator Allan Dale Zarate who represented the mayor during the official project announcement of Bayani Hall on December 15.
The Bayani Hall Project Announcement was graced by Presidential Communications and Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Marfori Andanar who relayed President Rodrigo Duterte’s thrust in prioritizing education in his administration.
In support of the President’s vision, Vester Corporation CEO Alexander Bangsoy says Bayani Hall stands as a supporting pillar to President Dueterte’s vision on education, as Bayani Hall Premier Dormitories are meant to be a fully managed, fully secured nurturing environment for the country’s students.
“It may be cliché but our youth are the future heroes of this nation, “ he said. “ We at Vester are investing now in that future, so that the next generations of FIlipinos will be much better than us,” he added.
