PCOO Undersecretary George Apacible accepts token of appreciation from VESTER Corporation, presented by CEO Alexander Bangsoy and Tuguegarao City Councilor Atty. Raymund Guzman.
Presidential Communications and Operations Office (PCOO) Undersecretary George Apacible graced the project launch of Bayani Hall Premier Dormitories in Tuguegarao on Saturday, December 14, 2019.
“President Rodrigo Duterte has stressed that education is the most valuable gift that we can leave behind to the succeeding generations. Thus, the launching of Bayani Hall will signify the potential of Tuguegarao as an educational center of the North”, Apacible said.
The undersecretary was able to make it to the event attended by locals from Tuguegarao, nearby provinces and a representative from the local government unit of Tuguegarao after his flight was delayed by more than two hours on the NAIA Tarmac. The unforeseen delay was caused by a plane mishap on the runway from another airline.
“With the next generation in mind as the future hope and heroes of this nation, I would like to congratulate Vester for committing themselves to build the best student accommodation called Bayani Hall to nurture the minds, bodies and spirit of the country’s youth so that this country will produce generations of Filipinos who are much better than us.”
In his speech, Apacible intimated that the “why” of Vester is to alleviate poverty in the country by offering easy to understand real estate investments that bear recurring income and appreciate in value. “This is because they [Vester] believe that real estate is still the best investment for the majority of Filipinos who are not knowledgeable, nor experts in dealing with complicated investment instruments and financial derivatives like bonds, crypto currencies and T-bills”, he added.
“So in keeping with President Duterte’s thrust of providing quality education as the best legacy parents could give to their children, Bayani Hall will soon rise in this esteemed city of Tuguegarao as the best inheritance we could leave behind to our children,” Apacible noted.
“It is not just a property that stands on the ground but an investment inheritance that earns a sustainable income for the next generation,” he reiterated. ***acb/Vester
