
“We are grateful that you came here to develop a dormitory for our students.”
This was the welcome statement of Tuguegarao City Councilor Raymund Guzman during the Project Announcement of Vester Corporation’s Bayani Hall Premier Dormitories.
The event last weekend was graced by Presidential Undersecretary George Apacible who reiterated President Rodrigo Duterte’s vision of prioritizing education in his administration as a fitting legacy for the next generation.
“Thank you for selecting us as one of the places you are investing in,” he added.
Guzman highlighted the fact the Tuguegarao is a business-friendly city with its much improved systems which eases the manner of doing business in the city.
“You can start doing business in Tuguegarao in just one day,” Guzman said.
He explained that the present LGU has streamlined business permit processing such that business permit requirements could be done in a day.
“We are the most business-friendly city in the country,” he added.
The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) recently awarded the seal of good governance to the city and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) also recognized the city’s direction towards doing business in the locality with ease.

The city councilor who represented Tuguegarao city mayor Jefferson Soriano during the event said the LGU welcomes Vester Corporation’s investment in Tuguegarao’s educational sector.
“Dumanon kayo, you are welcome here,” The city alderman said.
